Ondansetron is a medication used to manage nausea and vomiting caused by other medications.

Function

Ondansetron is used to manage nausea caused by other medications and lower chances of vomiting.

Ondansetron can cause bradycardia and at higher doses may not improve nausea.

Ondansetron is administered intravenously or intramuscularly with a rapid to quick onset, moderate peak and duration.

Usage

The Use Syringe action is available on the Torso and Limbs in the Medication Tab

The Push Ondansetron action is available on the Torso and Limbs in the Medication Tab

The Inject Ondansetron action is available on the Torso and Limbs in the Medication Tab

Medications require a Syringe to be able to be drawn and administered.

IV access is achieved with IV Catheters or IO devices.

Medications can be administered intramuscularly with just a syringe.
