Ertapenem is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infection.

Function

Ertapenem is a requirement for casualty conversion and Evacuation, and has no other effects.

Ertapenem can be administered intravenously or intramuscularly with a rapid onset, moderate peak and long duration, depending on route.

The casualty conversion must be done while under the effects of the medication.

Usage

The Use Syringe action is available on the Torso and Limbs in the Medication Tab

The Push Ertapenem action is available on the Torso and Limbs in the Medication Tab

The Inject Ertapenem action is available on the Torso and Limbs in the Medication Tab

Medications require a Syringe to be able to be drawn and administered.

IV access is achieved with IV Catheters or IO devices.

Medications can be administered intramuscularly with just a syringe.
