Calcium Chloride is a mineral used to increase calcium levels in the body.
Calcium chloride is used to supplement calcium lost from bleeding and during blood transfusion.
Calcium chloride is administered intravenously with a rapid onset, short peak and moderate duration.
Calcium chloride should not be administered intramuscularly.

Medications require a Syringe to be able to be drawn and administered.
IV access is achieved with IV Catheters or IO devices.
Push 1g IV after first unit (500ml), then 1g IV after every 4 units of blood.
