Amiodarone is a medication used to treat and prevent certain cardiac arrhythmias.
Amiodarone is used in the case of shockable cardiac arrest, pushed amiodarone will slow the heart in an attempt to stabilize the rhythm.
Amiodarone is administered intravenously with a rapid onset, moderate peak and duration.
Amiodarone has no effect if administered intramuscularly.

Medications require a Syringe to be able to be drawn and administered.
IV access is achieved with IV Catheters or IO devices.
Cardiac Arrest: Push 300mg IV, up to 2200mg
